AdvertisementThe first trimester felt as hard as Olympic trainingI knew we could handle twins. My twins (a boy and a girl, whose names I don't share publicly) were each over seven pounds and very healthy. When I was cleared for exercise after a few months, my au pair brought the twins to the gym. I was doing a 10th of the weight but felt even more exhausted, thanks to the physical demands of nursing twins. Read previewA woman has accused star real estate broker Tal Alexander and his brother Alon of raping her at a Manhattan apartment in 2012. Earlier this year, two other women filed separate lawsuits accusing Alon and a third brother, Oren Alexander, of rape. Tal and Oren Alexander cofounded the luxury real-estate brokerage Official. An attorney for Tal Alexander did not immediately return an email Tuesday seeking comment on the allegation. They also developed a reputation in the brokerage business for their aggressive approach in courting wealthy clientele and elbowing other brokers out of transactions.

Viral TikToks about intrauterine devices (IUDs) tend to portray negative experiences more often than positive ones, recent research found, and often focus on physical pain and mistrust of doctors. Just under 28% mentioned distrust of health care professionals, while around 24% contained “moderately or highly inaccurate scientific claims,” according to the researchers. Wu said she perceives a "communication gap between health care providers and patients on this topic," which can contribute to distrust in the health care system. "From my own experience as a resident physician, I do have patients talking to me more about pain," Wu said. Her team's research also demonstrates that "there is a space for health care professionals, or health care professionals working with influencers that people trust and love" to talk about birth control options, Wu said.
But clients may not know that Freedman, 58, was accused of sexual assault in the 1980s and paid a $40,000 settlement to the accuser. She said that instead of taking her there, the men brought her to the nearby Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. The plaintiff said she and her friend then returned to Zeta Beta Tau to retrieve her shoe and car key. The 17-year-old and her parents sued Freedman and the two other fraternity brothers, as well as Zeta Beta Tau and Tau Kappa Epsilon. (Zeta Beta Tau and the other college students accused of sexual assault also agreed to pay settlements, none of which admitted liability.)
