In a 2012 episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" Gordon Ramsay called a grilled lettuce dish "hideous." Ramsay later incorporated grilled romaine lettuce in a menu for a NASCAR event, Fox Sports reported. A viewer who spotted it called Ramsay out and suggested he should apologize. In the clip, Ramsay seemed astonished to find grilled caesar salad on the menu, and asked a server if it was a misprint. In his video, Doty pointed to this part of the menu, and called on Ramsay to apologize to the chef he had previously ridiculed for grilling lettuce.

A sound featuring 30 seconds of white noise has thus far been worth the same as an artist’s original music track, creating a “revenue opportunity for noise uploaders well beyond their contribution to listeners,” according to Spotify, and creating frustration throughout the music industry. Until now, creators of functional sounds have been able to game Spotify’s streaming system to maximize revenue with minimal effort. The functional genre includes nature sounds, white noise, sound effects and silence recordings. “Obviously white noise is very different from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ but it, currently under this model, is paid the same,” Marina Guz, chief commercial officer at Endel, an AI-driven functional music company partnered with Universal Music Group, told CNN. Guz explained that there has been rising pressure from labels and artists to change the way Spotify makes distinctions between functional noise and music.

The Prigozhin-linked jet crashed Aug. 23 in an area north of Moscow and killed all 10 people on board, including the Wagner boss and the group’s commander Dmitry Utkin, according to Russian authorities. The Facebook and Twitter posts were written in English, while the TikTok posts were spotted in Ukrainian and Russian. But Reuters traced the video to June 24, 2023, when it was shared online in relation to a plane crash in Russia’s Voronezh region during the aborted Wagner mutiny (t.me/c/1732054517/20231, t.me/c/1732054517/20231 and here ). Russian media outlet Fontanka said the video captured the crash of an IL-22 near Kantemirovka (here). The video can be traced back to at least June 2023, thus predating the Aug. 23 crash.
