After launching salads and chicken, Paltrow wanted to try pasta and pizza. Goop Superfina features 10 different square pizzas on the menu, and four different types of pasta. Anneta Konstantinides/Business InsiderChef Floresca told Vanity Fair that Paltrow has the final say on Goop's tasting panel, and it took a year for the company to develop the gluten-free pizza dough for Goop Superfina. The menu also features four different types of pasta, sides of broccoli or meatballs, and a few Goop Kitchen salads. I recruited my boyfriend and some friends to find out, opting to try two pizzas, two pastas, and a salad for our review of Goop Superfina.

As part of an ongoing series in which I review Trader Joe's seasonal products, I gave the chain's summer offerings a try. No frozen treat is complete without one of Trader Joe's organic sugar conesThis sugar cone paired well with Trader Joe's peach-crisp ice cream. As my experience is with most Trader Joe's salad kits, I think it also could've used a lot more dressing.

At 20-under, DeChambeau became the first player to shoot minus-20 or lower in a major championship and not win. Morikawa was looking to join Woods as the only men to win the PGA Championship twice in their first five tries in the stroke play era. Tied with Morikawa in fourth place was Thomas Detry, who enjoyed the best finish of his young major championship career. One day after recording his first over-par score since August, Scottie Scheffler finished his chaotic PGA Championship week with a more familiar 65.

How Mother Figures Impact Our Lives

For Mother’s Day, The Times asked readers to tell us about the mother figures in their lives. KELLY SANDOVAL, 48, SQUAMISH, B.C., CANADAI come from a multicultural background, but the Puerto Rican side of the family lived far away. When I showed up, Linda, my host mother, picked me up from the bus stop and made me tea and crumpets. If I had a nightmare and woke my mother up, she would tell me to climb into bed with Rita. During that year I also moved into my first apartment, away from the guidance of my mother.

The bones offer a rare glimpse of intentional corpse destruction in Maya culture to commemorate dramatic political change. Typically, Maya societies kept royal remains in accessible spaces where visitors could perform offerings. “Halperin is one of our most gifted field workers,” said Houston, who studies ancient Maya culture but was not involved in the research. Around the start of the ninth century when the remains were burned, carved Maya records described the deeds of a new ruler called Papmalil. Ritual desecration of royal remains by fire wasn’t unknown in Maya culture.

This is how collard greens have always been prepared in my family, often picked by my grandfather from his garden after carefully considering each bunch. There are few items as closely associated with a singular cuisine as collard greens are with the cuisine of Black Americans. Chef and cookbook author Adrienne Cheatham shows how to make a delicious salad using collard greens. With this wealth of health-supporting benefits, it’s a wonder collard greens don’t show up on the table more often, and in more ways. It wasn’t that long ago that kale was also relegated to preparations similar to traditional collard greens.

I've been following the Mediterranean diet for years, and I've learned a lot of simple recipes. I take a minimalist approach to my diet and often only use a few ingredients in my meals. I've discovered a love for orange, avocado, and shrimp saladI wasn't initially convinced that orange, mustard, and shrimp went together. I've concocted a Mediterranean version of a make-your-own pizzaIf you have an at-home dinner date coming up, make some puff-pastry pizza together. Foods that improve brain function and mood

Each episode will focus on one of those states — the distracted brain, the frightened brain, the depressed brain and others — to spotlight what is going on in our heads and how it affects our bodies. But it’s not so easy to know what to eat for brain health, or even how to measure it. Many of us have been told that foods such as blueberries, salmon, nuts and leafy greens are so-called brain foods. Nutritional psychiatrist Dr. Uma Naidoo has built a career around figuring out which foods improve brain function and positively influence the way we feel. What can you do to nourish your brain and boost your mood?

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina Republicans on Wednesday pitched new maps for the state's congressional districts starting in 2024 that appear to threaten the reelection of at least three current Democratic U.S. House members. Senate redistricting committee leaders introduced two proposals that would rework the boundary lines for the state's 14 U.S. House seats. The state House and Senate want to enact a final plan by the end of the month. He said House leaders “worked with Senate leadership on the congressional plan,” but he didn't say which Senate plan the House supported. House and Senate redistricting committees also filed separate legislation Wednesday that would rework their own districts — the House for its 120 seats and the Senate for its 50 seats.

Goldman Sachs is having an identity crisis

I never thought I'd write this but … I miss the old Goldman Sachs. That was the voice of Goldman Sachs 2009 — the adamantine firm that managed to make its way through the crisis relatively unscathed. This sort of dry humor worked back then, but for today's Goldman Sachs, the joke just doesn't hit the same way. Van Praag — who was once dubbed "Goldman Sachs' Rococo PR prince" by The Observer — left the firm in 2012. Bowery, a vertical farming company that grows crops indoors, is getting more shelf space at Amazon 's Whole Foods, with a deal to triple the stores stocking its salad kits. Currently, Bowery's salad kits and a selection of greens are carried at 50 Whole Foods Market stores in the Northeast. The deal comes amid challenges for both vertical farming and Amazon's efforts to expand its grocery footprint. The vertical farming industry, meanwhile, has been under pressure, like many formerly high-flying, heavily VC-funded startup niches. According to PitchBook, through the first quarter of 2023, vertical farming deals declined by 91% year-over-year.

Harman, seeking his first major title, dropped two shots in the first four holes before birdies at the fifth, ninth, 12th and 13th took him to 12 under par, five ahead of American Cameron Young and six clear of Rahm. The 36-year-old Harman, world number 26, showed great courage and composure after his shaky start, particularly as it happened just after Rahm had completed his round to ramp up the pressure. "The start was tough, I hit a couple of loose shots," Harman told a news conference. World number three Rahm conjured up eight birdies in a majestic display of ball-striking to give himself a chance to win his third major crown and second of the year.
