"In sectors where they think reliance on American firms — software, hardware, anything talked about — is going to become a national security threat, they want American companies out. "In essence Apple needs China and China needs Apple despite all the noise," he said. "With 90% of the supply chain cemented in China Apple will over time move some manufacturing to India, Vietnam, and other regions. However, the vast majority of its iPhone production and suppliers will remain in China and this trip was Apple essentially doubling down on China."

The start of the Division I Northeast Conference game was delayed after several FDU players became stuck in a cramped elevator at the Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn and had to be extricated with help from the New York City Fire Department. “The lights went off and we were just like, ‘Oh, no,’” FDU player Ansley Almonor told ESPN. We were sweating in there.”Footage on social media showed the players eventually climbing out of the elevator one at a time before the game got underway 17 minutes after the scheduled start time. “Going UP!” the team posted on X after the win.

CNN —One person has died and at least five people were injured as a vehicle crashed into an Austin medical center emergency room Tuesday evening, according to the facility’s chief medical officer. Christa Stedman of the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said the child in critical condition had life-threatening injuries while the adult’s injuries were potentially life threatening. One patient was admitted to St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, where the crash occurred in the ER lobby, Chief Medical Officer Peter DeYoung said. Eight patients who were at the hospital and not injured in the vehicle crash were also being transferred to other hospitals, DeYoung said. Moments later, Hughes realized a vehicle had crashed into the emergency room.
