But authorities say Mexican drug cartels are piggybacking on this legal network to repatriate earnings from U.S. narcotics sales. A Reuters search of Mexican court records dating back to 2012 turned up no cases involving money laundering through remittances. Still, prosecutors in those cases mentioned several of those firms in court documents because they said the defendants had used their platforms to wire drug money. His office did not respond to requests for comment about law enforcement allegations that Mexican cartels are using remittances to launder drug money.

Datorită vegetației de răchitișuri și sălcișuri, care s-au dezvoltat aici în ultimele două decenii, și a apelor lacului Beleu, castorul are mai multe condiții pentru a se înmulți și a repopula regiunea. Aproape două treimi din rezervație sunt ocupate de lacul Beleu, care are cu un ecosistem unic, recunoscut la nivel internațional. Peste 30 de specii de pești ce migrează din Dunăre își găsesc casă în apa dulce a lacului Beleu. Acum mai mulți ani, specialistul, împreună cu un grup de cercetători, a efectuat un studiu al apei din lacul Beleu. Pungi de plastic, sticle, ambalaje – toate aceste „urme” ale activității umane ajung în lacul Beleu și sunt oprite de vegetația densă, devenind un pericol pentru viețuitoare.

Păstrăvii care petrecuseră 8 săptămâni în apa cu droguri au ales această variantă în primele patru zile după mutarea în apă curată. Păstrăvii implicați în studiu au fost eutanasiați, iar țesutul lor cerebral a fost analizat de cercetători. Cercetătorii au concluzionat că și un nivel redus de droguri în râuri pot afecta animalele care trăiesc în ele. Pofta de droguri a peștilor s-ar putea dovedi chiar mai puternică decât satisfacția obținută în mod natural prin hrană sau împerechere, a mai spus Horky. În 2019, cercetătorii din Marea Britanie au descoperit urme de droguri, medicamente și pesticile în creveții de apă dulce.

Încă un debutant la Jocurile Olimpice! Moldoveanca Ana Dulce s-a calificat la Olimpiadă și astfel a devenit a 18-a componentă a lotului național care și-a asigurat, oficial, participarea la marele eveniment sportiv.Ana are doar 15 ani și va evolua în concursul de tir, proba de 10 metri pistol aer. Deși este încă adolescentă, Dulce are un palmares impresionant. Ea e campioană a Moldovei, participantă la Campionatul Mondial de juniori în 2019, iar în acest an concurat chiar la Campionatul European de seniori.Ana s-a clasat pe locul 24 şi a stabilit şi un nou record la această probă pentru ţara noastră, acumulând 570 de puncte din 600 posibile.
