CNN —For many people, back pain can make it difficult to function in everyday life. A proactive, daily-life approach to cultivating a healthy body is the key to keeping back pain at bay, writes Dana Santas. fizkes/Adobe StockBut what if, instead of being reactive, you took small daily steps to proactively avoid back pain altogether? Unfortunately, many people are unaware of the everyday actions that contribute to back pain — or steps that can be taken to avoid it. Taking a proactive, daily-life approach to cultivating a healthy body is the key to keeping back pain at bay.
An earlier study in adults showed that the drug did indeed help with weight loss. “We’ve entered the phase where we are seeing the kind of weight loss where teens come to us in tears. In addition to the weight loss, the drug reduced some cardiovascular risk factors, including waist circumference and bad cholesterol. As it turns out, even when people get weight loss surgery, “three years out, there is significant weight gain,” Li said. When a weight loss drug like this is prescribed to patients, that shouldn’t be the end of things, Li said.
