After deducting business expenses and taxes, Parker earned $200,000 last year from her work as a real estate broker. She didn't start attending real estate classes until Nathan turned 4 and her children were in school full-time. In 2010, her first year working as a real estate agent, Parker made about $50,000 — but by 2014, she doubled her income to $100,000.
