Thanks to de-aging technology, De Niro portrayed Sheeran throughout his life, the lines on his face digitally smoothed. There are a few ways to make actors appear younger on screen using technology, each with advantages and disadvantages. In 2019’s “Gemini Man," the younger version of Will Smith’s character Henry Brogan has a fully CGI head. There’s an excruciating bit in “The Irishman” when a supposedly young Sheeran kicks another character out of his shop. This, really, is why de-aging megastars always feels a bit icky.

☆ C-3PO ‘Star Wars’ head goes on sale in huge movie memorabilia auction

CNN —In a galaxy not-so far away, “Star Wars” fans will soon have the chance to buy the head of C-3PO when it goes under the hammer next month as part of a huge movie memorabilia auction. The item, complete with light-up eyes, comes from the personal collection of C-3PO himself, Anthony Daniels, who played the droid the “Star Wars” movies. Other items from Daniels’ collection that are up for sale include C-3PO’s hands and feet, hand-annotated scripts and an unopened cereal box used as a prop by C-3PO. “I hope this can bring pleasure to Star Wars fans and collectors all around the world and give them a chance to own a piece of the real thing.”C-3PO is one of "Star Wars'" most iconic characters. There are several fictions perpetrated by the vaguely comic “Tulsa King.” One suggests that there are areas of this country so innocent and untouched by evildoers that an aging mob capo could come in and transform the place, virtually overnight, into Vito Corleone’s Little Italy circa 1920. Another suggests that said gangster, Dwight Manfredi ( Sylvester Stallone ), could be mistaken by an extremely attractive local woman ( Andrea Savage ) for a “hard 55” rather than his actual 75 years of age. It’s something that the series has to deal with eventually and does quickly, if not mercifully.
