Announcing Leonor's military training in March, Spain's Defence Minister Margarita Robles, said Leonor was one of many young women now signing up to the armed forces. "In due course, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces will be a woman, and in recent years we have been making a very important effort to incorporate women into the armed forces," Robles said. The government and the Royal House have agreed Leonor's "very intense" military training will precede her university studies, following in the footsteps of her father in the 1980s.

A student used AI to write a letter to her council to contest a parking fine. She felt she'd been wrongly fined and wanted to save time by using ChatGPT to write the letter. Generative AI platforms like ChatGPT are also being used to write news articles and novels. Walton & Hersham FC traces its roots to 1895 and played at Wembley, but it had fallen on hard times. My first memory of football was when I was 5 and my dad took me to watch Walton & Hersham FC play AFC Wimbledon. One Saturday in 2018, I decided to take a break from my university studies and watch a Walton & Hersham FC match with my dad. Under the new owners, Walton & Hersham FC has been promoted twice. We're not on the same scale as "Welcome to Wrexham," but we recognized the financial anguish that comes with owning a football club.
