WWE does not expect to reach a rights agreement for its flagship show "Raw" until next year. "SmackDown" has been on Fox since October 2019, with a rights agreement for $205 million per year in a five-year deal. "SmackDown" last appeared on USA Network from 2016 to 2019.

WWE, part of TKO Group (TKO.N), will also produce four primetime specials per year for NBC as part of the five-year deal. "With Friday nights on USA, primetime specials on NBC, and the WWE hub on Peacock, we'll continue to use the power of our portfolio to super-serve this passionate fanbase," NBCUniversal Entertainment Chairman Frances Berwick said. USA Network is currently home to "WWE NXT" and "WWE Raw".

Vice Chancellor Travis Laster said the Universal Entertainment affiliate did not have to complete the 2021 merger agreement in part because 26 Capital Acquisition "engaged in conduct that should not be rewarded" by ordering the deal to close. Laster said 26 Capital could still seek damages, which he would address at a later date. “Back then, it definitely wasn’t cool to be into theme parks, but I was obsessed,” Jeffs, 39, tells CNN. Jeffs points to the immersive “Pacific Rim: Shatterdome Strike” ride at Trans Studio Cibubur, part of Indonesia’s largest theme park chain, as an example. “When I was growing up, theme park design was often dismissed as a rinky-dink, second-class artistic discipline simply because it was rarely well done. “That first summer, we drove 10,000 miles and hit up virtually any theme park that had managed to re-open,” he says.
