For comparison, 2019's "Toy Story 4" generated $12 million on its Thursday previews and snared $120.9 million for its opening weekend. Only a rare few films would extend beyond that date — usually massive franchise films or blockbuster hits. "Ninety-day windows were always going to be unsustainable," said Jeff Kaufman, senior vice president of film and marketing at Malco Theaters. Box office experts are looking to "Inside Out 2" as a barometer for the health of Pixar and its future.

No matter who you are or what your politics, whatever your ethnic origin, economic circumstance, family history or mental health status, chances are you have ample reason to be ticked off. If you’re on the left, you have been oppressed, denied, marginalized, silenced, erased, pained, underrepresented, underresourced, traumatized, harmed and hurt. If you’re on the right, you’ve been ignored, overlooked, demeaned, underestimated, shouted down, maligned, caricatured and despised; in Trumpspeak: wronged and betrayed. What was Jan. 6 at heart but a gigantic tantrum by those who felt they’d been cheated and would take back their due, by whatever means necessary? Founder and owner Jenny Nguyen told CNBC the business made nearly $1 million in its first eight months. The bar has gone viral online and received the attention of WNBA stars and more. Nguyen told CNBC that the Oregon bar raked in $944,000 in revenue during its first eight months, despite her fears not many would share her love for women's sports.
