Eight people have been indicted in St. Louis on charges that allege they stole at least 19 rental cars worth more than $1 million as part of an identity fraud scheme. According to the indictment, the suspects would reserve rental cars from the company using stolen credit card information and false identities. It added that the value of the stolen cars was just over $1.1 million. "This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how criminals use people's stolen identities," said Jay Greenberg of the FBI St. Louis Division.
