Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was not amused after “Saturday Night Live” used his infamous feud with his brother and bandmate Noel Gallagher as inspiration for a sketch.
!”The Gallagher brothers were known for their intense and very public disagreements throughout Oasis’ heyday in the 1990s, continuing until 2009, when Noel, main songwriter and lead guitarist, decided he could no longer work with frontman Liam.
Given the infamy of their feuding, Oasis didn’t seem likely to reunite for many years.
But in August, the Gallagher brothers announced a 2025 tour, 19 years after the band went on hiatus.
The tour will mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?”, which includes the hit single “Wonderwall.”
