“Do you think about your organs, Timmy?” asked Moriah Evans, an experimental choreographer. “How often do you commit yourself to trying to sense the bodies within your body?”She was live on air, speaking to the artist and teacher Timothy Simonds on Montez Press Radio, an online station based in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Mr. Simonds hosts a show called “Miss Othmar’s Meeting with Teachers,” a reference to Charlie Brown’s teacher, who is only ever heard as a disembodied voice. Every month, he asks people with wildly varying expertise to educate him on something new. That winter afternoon, Ms. Evans was instructing him in the art of dancing with his internal organs.

Walmart started using Workplace, a Meta-designed social-media app, in 2017. "Most of the posts I see on Workplace are just memes making fun of management and corporate," a Walmart employee from Minnesota said. On Walmart's Workplace site, the first photo was captioned "using workplace for work-related posts," and the second photo said "using workplace for memes." Just as on Facebook, users have Workplace feeds where they see what other Walmart workers post, with their names attached. The Walmart employee from Michigan said he was "surprised at first" that workers would share memes on Workplace without being anonymous.

Some Creator Music licenses have a set price, while others have custom pricing based on a channel's size. Prices for a song license in Creator Music can vary widely based on a creator's subscriber count. Music rights holders regularly crack down on brands that use songs in social-media posts without paying for a license. YouTube has gradually introduced features over the past decade-and-a-half to compensate music rights' holders on its platform. The company is also setting aside revenue for music rights holders as it introduces revenue-sharing on Shorts this month.

Three things to watch‘Blockbuster’(From left) Olga Merediz and Melissa Fumero in a scene from Netflix's "Blockbuster." In the eponymous show, Randall Park plays Timmy Yoon, “an analog dreamer living in a 5G world” who manages the last Blockbuster location out there. Randall Park’s new show, which centers around the last remaining video rental Blockbuster store, is — in many ways — a perfect project for the actor. There are also small nods to the way in which certain demographics would see the rental stores. / NetflixPark said the moment harkens back to memories of his own immigrant parents frequenting small video rental stores in Los Angeles’ Koreatown. The cultural safe space that the rental stores provided were significant, he said. “I do feel like video rental was definitely a part of our lives well after it stopped being mainstream,” he remembered.

Davis talks to journalists at the U.S. Embassy in Doha REUTERS/Imad CreidiDOHA Oct 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. ambassador to Doha has urged Qatar's police and authorities to be patient, tolerant and transparent in managing more than a million soccer fans expected to visit during the month-long World Cup, he said on Tuesday. Tournament organisers have not publicly clarified their approach to policing during the competition, and the U.S. Embassy and others have told fans they could face punishment for behaviour that would be tolerated elsewhere. Organisers have told diplomats and police from qualified countries they intend to show flexibility for fans who commit relatively minor infringements, Reuters reported last month. "Change is part and parcel of hosting people from all over the world ... in a big burst like a World Cup, Davis said.
