Among the 40 tractor trailers used to collect vegetal waste are new vehicles bought recently with money allocated from the municipal budget.
According to Vasile Efros, the leaves from sidewalks and in parks are gathered the first, followed by the leaves in yards of apartment buildings.
The works will continue until all the leaves that fell are collected.
Earlier this month, the General Public Amenities Division purchased a number of vehicles and pieces of equipment for the cleanup works to the value of about 7 million lei.
