CNN —Get ready for a truly stellar and eclectic class of new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees for induction this year. On Saturday, the esteemed music institution announced that Cher, Lenny Kravitz, Sinéad O’Connor, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne and Mariah Carey are up for the honor, with the official list of inductees to be announced in late April. To be eligible for nomination for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. “This remarkable list of nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates,” said John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “Continuing in the true spirit of Rock & Roll, these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps.”The official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024 induction ceremony will take place in Cleveland this fall.

REUTERS/Danny Moloshok/File Photo Acquire Licensing RightsSept 27 (Reuters) - A new addition to streaming service Max strips the reality dating show genre down to its bare essentials. "Naked Attraction" features six nude contestants in glass booths whose body parts are gradually revealed, “bit by lovely bit,” until a single contestant is chosen for a date. “I will remind you that HBO is the home of ‘Real Sex’ and ‘Cathouse,'” Bloys said at the Vox Media’s Code 2023 conference, referring to other explicit shows. “You need an entire mix of programming.”Discovery+ acquired all seasons of "Naked Attraction," in a 2021 deal with Britain-based distributor All3Media. As of Wednesday, the show was the most popular series on the streaming service, a week after its launch.

REUTERS/Phil McCartenLOS ANGELES, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Television writer and producer Ryan Murphy, creator of hits from "Glee" to "9-1-1" and "American Horror Story," will receive a lifetime achievement honor at Hollywood's Golden Globes ceremony next month. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group that votes on the Golden Globes, said it would celebrate Murphy's contributions to television with its fourth Carol Burnett Award. Murphy, 57, won fans for his musical TV series "Glee" from 2009 to 2015. The HFPA also said this week it would honor comedian Eddie Murphy with the Cecil B. DeMille award, a lifetime achievement award for film work, at the January ceremony.
It's tempting to wait to watch each block instead of watching one episode every week. "I knew where it was going to end up," Gilroy said during an interview last week on The Watch podcast. It's definitely the best "Star Wars" series since "The Mandalorian," as I was disappointed by "The Book of Boba Fett" and "Obi-Wan Kenobi." But I also appreciate the episode format "Andor" is striving for, and watching every week might ruin the experience. Gilroy has said that the entire series will take place over two seasons with 24 total episodes.
