Mr. Trump’s lawyers will seek to emphasize Mr. Cohen’s checkered past at every turn.
And, on cross-examination, Mr. Trump’s lawyers are likely to portray Mr. Cohen as a serial liar with a grudge against his former boss.
Mr. Pecker can support at least some of Mr. Cohen’s testimony about Mr. Trump’s involvement in the hush-money deals.
