LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — A man armed with two machetes was fatally shot inside a Southern California supermarket Tuesday after he charged at sheriff's deputies, authorities said. LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles man who was already arrested in another shooting investigation has been identified as the suspect in three recent killings of homeless men, police said Saturday. His friend called 911 after they determined he was stuck and needed assistance,” the sheriff's office said in a statement. But jurors concluded the death of his cousin, Latoya James, wasn't Brown's fault. James was killed May 4, 2021, after deputies with a search warrant for drugs came to Brown's darkened home at about 5 a.m. Body camera video released prior to the trial showed deputies announcing themselves and then immediately forcing their way inside.
