Ryan Wrasse, communications director for Thune, said the claim that Thune is holding DOJ nominees is “completely false.” Wrasse also addressed this in a June 13 tweet (here). There is no public evidence of Thune holding DOJ nominees in response to the Trump indictment, and Thune’s spokesperson has denied the claim.
