She told The New York Times that she had no idea about her husband until police dragged him away. She spent months fighting to overturn his conviction before she went silent in June, the times reported. At the time, Bei had no idea what was going on as Chinese police spent 12 hours ransacking her apartment, according to the Times. And the same month that Bei's husband was taken away, the blog went dark, the Times reported.
