White sand, clear turquoise sea and lush trees swaying in the breeze. This might sound like a description of the Maldives — but it's actually what I experienced on a recent trip to Italy. The area was founded by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV in the 1960s and now attracts the jet set. Airfare obviously affects travel costs, but I spent $1,500 for a week on the island, including flights from London. We stopped for a lemon granita at the Shardana restaurant, set among the trees overlooking the white sand Baia Sant'Anna beach.

I've dined at about 60% of the restaurants at Disney World (both table service and quick service), and there are hits and misses. I usually enjoy a plate of chicken Parmesan or spaghetti, but not from here. I'd recommend visiting Tutto Gusto or Tutto Italia at Epcot if you're wanting some high-quality Italian cuisine at Disney World. I can't express how delicious the food is at Boma — it's some of the best food I've had at Disney World.

George Santos' campaign spent thousands at an Italian restaurant in Queens during his run for Congress. That's enough money to buy 1,131 orders of the restaurant's $23 rigatoni bolognese, or nearly 1,800 pizzas. The embattled first-time Republican congressman's campaign spent more than $26,000 in funds at an Italian joint in Queens, New York, updated financial disclosure documents from his campaign show. Santos' financial disclosures also revealed he owes the restaurant another $18,773.54 for a campaign election night event. Representatives for George Santos' campaign did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — While the economic outlook for much of the world is predicted to be rocky over 2023, in the Gulf there's a buoyant mood. This is especially true for the United Arab Emirates, with the country's economy growing by more than 6% this year, according to the International Monetary Fund. For a few nights only, well-heeled guests sampled creations such as pan-fried squid with black garlic, Paris mushrooms and rocket. Michelin chiefs agree, saying that the UAE is now on par with the big global gourmet destinations such as Paris, New York, Singapore, and London. "We would say the restaurants in the Michelin Guide selection in the UAE are equal to the big cities."
