At Rami Hijjo’s home in Gaza City, showering is a luxury of the past.
The taps are running dry and he spends hours each day trying to procure rationed drinking water that isn’t even clean enough to make tea.
“Sometimes the water is salty and the tea we prepare with it is murky,” said the father of three, a former humanitarian worker.
