The artificial intelligence revolution is just getting started, and that means there are opportunities for investors to scoop up some names at a discount, according to Evercore ISI. Yet adoption is low, with less than 5% of U.S. firms reporting using AI, he said, citing U.S. Census Bureau data. To find "AI revolutionaries" that are trading at a discount, Evercore ISI looked for companies in the Russell 1000 with strongly trending AI mentions — either surpassing the index or the company's sector average. One of the names on the list is Uber Technologies , which mentioned AI 17 times last year. The company is also using AI to increase productivity.

NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - Amazon shoppers snagged deals on food delivery, travel and healthcare during a two-day Prime Event that ended on Wednesday, highlighting the potential for growth in services at an e-retailing giant long focused on goods. Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the shift to include services. Amazon offered a 28% discount for a one-year subscription to its One Medical service for U.S. Prime members who signed up before the Prime Day event ended. Experimenting with more Prime Day deals on services and discounted memberships could bolster Amazon's advertising services, Lipsman said. Investors expect ad revenue to reach $11.2 billion in the third quarter, which will include Prime Day data, according to Refinitiv data.

July 11 (Reuters) - Amazon.com (AMZN.O) hopes to tempt U.S. shoppers on Tuesday to open inflation-thinned wallets by offering deeper discounts on a wide range of goods and services during this year's "Prime Day" 48-hour shopping event, including its first-ever travel discounts. A year of inflation has lifted mortgage rates, rents and food prices for consumers ahead of Prime Day, which falls on July 11-12 this year. CFRA Research analyst Arun Sundaram said Amazon's U.S. Prime Day discounts this year are mostly deeper than in previous years. Amazon Prime members can also save up to 40% on items such as Sherpani bags and ZOA Energy drinks, by checking out using "Buy with Prime," directly from Amazon's third-party merchants. Priceline is the first travel brand to offer an exclusive U.S. Prime Day deal, Amazon said. Booking Holdings has several sites, so this isn't the first time the company has worked with Amazon on Prime deals. Look no further than artificial intelligence from Google (GOOGL.O) at Priceline as early as this summer, the companies told Reuters.
