In 2005, I met a new friend named Pete at the Road America racetrack in Wisconsin. He had a Ducati dealership and was involved in racing, and I worked with racing motorcycles. On the day I met him, he had this Porsche 912 with him. He had restored the car and painted it a strawberry-red that was highly unusual, not just for a Porsche, but for any car.
