I use cauliflower gnocchi to make a variety of gluten-free meals. Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi crisps up nicely in a pan. Niko NelsonTo achieve the perfect crispiness, I like to sauté Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi on the stove with the lid on, then finish cooking it without the lid. I serve the gnocchi with Brussels sprouts and a homemade dressing, and garnish the dish with shaved Pecorino Romano.

Martha Stewart revealed her favorite "lazy girl" pasta dish to Business Insider. Stewart recently sat down with Business Insider to discuss her new holiday-themed "Dunkintini" cocktail recipe with Dunkin' , and also revealed her favorite "lazy girl" pasta dish. "The easiest thing to make good is a really good pasta, it's so easy to not mess that up," Stewart said. "And use really good pasta, always have good dried pasta on hand so that you can cook up a pound of it," she added. Of course, it's not the only quick pasta dish Stewart has up her sleeve.

But in New York, the challenge will be replicating the quality of ingredients that Roscioli is known for, not only in its pastas but also on its plates of exceptionally fresh cheeses like burrata, buffalo mozzarella and buffalo ricotta, and cured meats like mortadella and prosciutto — few of which can be served in the United States. Fresh cheeses made from raw milk can’t be imported at all, though aged cheeses like Pecorino Romano can be. “The winds keep changing,” said Zach Allen, who has overseen food imports at the U.S. locations of Eataly and the fast-growing Florentine sandwich chain All’Antico Vinaio. “The imports used to be so heat-treated and over-cured that they didn’t taste anything like the original,” he said, referring to regulations imposed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture on cured meatsOver decades, Mr. Allen has painstakingly developed relationships and recipes with U.S. producers who make what he needs, like a fatty, fennel-spiked Tuscan salami called sbriciolona for La Favolosa, a top-selling sandwich at the New York locations of All’Antico. “The Rosciolis are at the very beginning of that process.”

AFTER INSTALLING a wood-burning oven in his backyard in 2017, chef Javier Ramirez became obsessed with crafting the perfect pizza: a passion that eventually led to the launch of his popular Miami restaurant, La Natural. Here, for his second Slow Food Fast contribution, Mr. Ramirez shares a timeless pantry pasta that proves that the link between what he eats on repeat at home and what inspires his restaurant menu remains strong. A combination of paccheri, a tubular pasta, and peas is tumbled with a generous glug of olive oil and red pepper flakes, then finished with pecorino Romano and parsley. “When you get a bite with the peas, the hot chile, the starchy pasta and the cheese…it’s perfect umami,” said Mr. Ramirez. “You don’t need anything more.”
