The money management giant is looking for a new Washington, DC-based head of US government affairs and public policy as well as a new head of state government affairs, wrote John Kelly, BlackRock's global head of corporate affairs, in a previously unreported company memo last week. The overhaul, which includes reshuffling positions and a renamed government affairs and public policy group, reflects the tremendous pressure BlackRock is under in the public eye. Reshaping the key policy groupA string of roles in the public policy group are changing to meet this new reality.
