He was convicted in a jury trial on three counts of forced labor and three counts of attempted forced labor in June. The sentencing of Papantoniadis marks just the latest in a string of complaints over labor practices at his businesses. In 2019, the business owners were ordered to pay more than $300,000 in back wages, according to NBC Boston.
