The study of Canine Vaccination Hesitancy (CVH) by Boston University's School of Public Health was released on Aug. 26. It found 37% of owners consider dog vaccines to be unsafe, 22% of dog owners view them as ineffective, and 30% deem them unnecessary. In all, 53% of dog owners held one of these three views, according to the study, which was conducted in partnership with the market research and data analytics company YouGov. However, veterinarians also try to persuade dog owners to get their pets vaccinated against other diseases. In California, vets recommend vaccines against parvovirus, canine hepatitis and distemper.

Paleontologist Nicolas Chimento said scientists decided to name the dinosaur "Chucarosaurus Diripienda", meaning hard-boiled and scrambled, because it had rolled around and survived the accident. At 50 tonnes and 30 meters in length, the Chucarosaurus is the largest-ever dinosaur discovered in the mountainous Rio Negro province. There's a $1 trillion market opportunity for electric flying vehicles, and one player in particular — Eve — is positioned to take flight, according to JPMorgan. The company, which designs and produces electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOLs), has superior expertise since it was founded by Brazil-based jets manufacturer Embraer , analyst Marcelo Motta said in a note Wednesday. In September, United announced it agreed to buy 200 electric air taxis from the company and has options to purchase 200 more. Its total addressable market for passenger transportation could potentially reach $1 trillion by 2040 and would jump to $3 trillion when including cargo and military operations. That potential size exceeds the helicopter market of $35 billion a year and would have lower noise emission, lower operational costs and safety benefits, Motta said.
