With his prime-time vow to send more weapons to both Ukraine and Israel, President Biden sought to make clear on Thursday that the United States was not prioritizing one war over the other. But hours earlier, a Defense Department official said that tens of thousands of 155-millimeter artillery shells promised to Ukraine would be diverted to Israel. The last "Tucker Carlson Tonight" episode aired on Fox News on Friday, April 21. Carlson's final show covered Hunter Biden, racist home appraisals, inclusive Mother's Day cards, and pizza. The Fox News host seemed to have no idea Friday would be his last time helming "Tucker Carlson Tonight." Carlson also spent time covering immigration, fentanyl, the casting of "Queen Cleopatra", inclusive Mother's Day cards, and the Pentagon leak. His final words on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" before digging into another bite of pizza were: "We'll be back on Monday.

He became Disney’s chief corporate affairs officer January 24, 2022, and the company promptly announced Morrell’s departure in late April. That $4 million will be in addition to the $8.3 million in compensation reported for last year. The former Disney PR chief received more than $100,000 a day for his short tenure at the media company in 2022. Before that he helped see BP (BP) through the Deepwater Horizon disaster and the resulting oil spill. Morrell’s departure from Disney was announced within days of that dust-up.

But just 31% of that group has gotten updated booster shots. Hospital physicians, state public health officials and advocacy groups for older adults pointed to a variety of factors fueling the low booster uptake. They include feelings of fatigue at the pace of Covid shots and a lack of awareness that the new booster could make the difference between a mild case and a hospital visit. Morell said she experienced dizziness, blurry eyesight and heart palpitations after her first Covid booster in November 2021. Wachter said the majority of people who have gotten the new booster get mild Covid, even if they’re older or have risk factors.

Animals evolve certain kinds of cognitive abilities to deal with pressures in their natural habitat, said Virginia Morell, author of "Animal Wise." We also tend to underestimate the brainpower of animals by relying too much on intelligence tests based on what humans are capable of. The good news is "we're getting a better idea of how animals think and experience the world," Morrell said.
