Jason John Miles, a tattoo artist and content creator, said the industry is in a "bad state." According to data from Fortune Business Insights, the tattoo industry is expected to reach $3.92 billion by 2030. "Consumers are less likely to put up with bullshit from tattoo artists and tattoo shops," Dominique said. There are tons of good male tattoo artists, she said, and there is still a market for them. Despite the current challenges, artists who spoke with BI said they were hopeful about the tattoo industry.

This last scene in the June 2007 finale of "The Sopranos" featured almost the entirety of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." For such a massive hit, “Don’t Stop Believin’” is sort of a curious tune. A scene from the pilot episode of "Glee," where the singers did an a capella version of "Don't Stop Believin'." ‘Don’t stop believing, Jon.’”Over the past 15 years “Don’t Stop Believin’” has become a karaoke staple and a sing-along favorite. CNN —One of the UK’s oldest and most important cathedrals is hosting two ’90s-themed silent discos, a move that has proved popular with revelers but sparked a backlash from some Christians, who say a disco has no place in a cathedral. Bathed in colorful illuminations, clutching glow sticks and wearing headphones that blasted ’90s music directly into their ears, hundreds of people danced well into the night on Thursday in Canterbury Cathedral, Kent. Founded in 597 CE, the cathedral is the seat of Britain’s most senior bishop, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the head of the worldwide Anglican communion. Chapter of Canterbury CathedralThe cathedral enthused on social media about the “fantastic atmosphere” created, and another disco is scheduled for Friday evening. The discos’ organizer, Silent Discos in Incredible Places, has hosted similar events in several other British cathedrals already, saying on Instagram that it works with more than half of the country’s major cathedrals.

With the pace of rocket launches accelerating, and competition from China rising, executives from top U.S. space companies on Wednesday urged senators to improve the Federal Aviation Administration's regulatory and licensing processes. The Senate Subcommittee on Space and Science heard from a trio of company representatives from SpaceX, Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic , as well as a pair of industry experts. Gerstenmaier emphasized that the FAA's commercial space office "needs at least twice the resources that they have today" for licensing rocket launches. Wayne Monteith — a retired Air Force brigadier general who also led the FAA's space office — said that Congress should consider consolidating space regulations. "I believe a more efficient one stop shop approach to authorizing and licensing space activities is necessary," Monteith said.

CNN —Ryan Murphy says he now would have handled the death of “Glee” star Cory Monteith differently. “I’ve thought a lot about that recently and I would not have done that [episode] now,” Murphy said. “I was the person who had to lead the intervention not knowing what to do or what to say. I was just desperate for him to live.”Though he had counselor on set during filming of the tribute episode and even gave cast the option to not participate, Murphy said he understood how difficult it was for all involved. The showrunner added that at the time, he “was in such a blur of grief” and felt “devastated” by Monteith’s tragic death.
