MONZA, Italy, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Lewis Hamilton has questioned the strength of Max Verstappen's Formula One team mates compared to those the Briton has partnered over the years. The seven times world champion also told Sky Italy that he was "no more impressed" with the Red Bull driver's achievements than he had been when other champions were winning and dominating. "In my personal opinion, Valtteri and all of my team mates have been stronger than the team mates that Max has had. Hamilton was beaten by 2009 world champion Button in 2011, by Rosberg in 2016 when the German took the title and by Russell in 2022. None of Verstappen's team mates have been world champions.

The logo of technology company Nvidia is seen at its headquarters in Santa Clara, California February 11, 2015. The reports came ahead of a speech by Fed Chair Jerome Powell at an annual central bank summit in Jackson Hole on Friday that would offer more clues on the direction for the U.S. interest rates. "The Jackson Hole last year was not good for markets. So you've got a little bit of a down shift into a wait-and-see mode to ascertain what Powell is going to sound like this year at Jackson Hole," said Hogan. The SpaceX Starship lifts off from the launchpad during a flight test from Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas, on April 20, 2023. Patrick T. Fallon | Afp | Getty ImagesElon Musk expects SpaceX to spend about $2 billion on its Starship rocket development this year, as the company pushes to build on its first launch earlier this month. "To my knowledge, we do not need to raise incremental funding for SpaceX," Musk said. As for the dramatic first fully stacked Starship rocket launch on April 20," the SpaceX CEO said, "The outcome was roughly in what I expected, and maybe slightly exceeding my expectations." He put the probability of reaching orbit with a Starship flight this year at "probably" 80%, but espoused that he thinks there is a "100% chance of reaching orbit within 12 months."
Relativity Space, a 3D-printing specialist, launched the inaugural flight of its Terran 1 rocket late on Wednesday night, which successfully met some mission objectives before failing to reach orbit. Terran 1 lifted off from LC-16, a launchpad at the U.S. Space Force's facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and flew for about three minutes. Relativity launch director Clay Walker confirmed that there was an "anomaly" with the upper stage. While many space companies utilize 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, Relativity has effectively gone all-in on the strategy. The Long Beach, California-based venture aims to create rockets from raw materials in as few as 60 days.
CNN —Startup Relativity Space sent what it’s calling the “world’s first 3D-printed rocket” toward space on Wednesday, vaulting it into the upper reaches of the atmosphere. Relativity Space's Terran 1 rocket is seen during its third launch attempt of a mission called "GLHF" (Good Luck, Have Fun), from Launch Complex 16 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on March 22, 2023. The company said computers automatically aborted the launch attempt because of a detected software issue. Still, the Terran 1 rocket that failed its first launch attempt on Wednesday may not end up being the company’s showcase product. But those deals are “overwhelmingly for our larger reusable rocket Terran R,” Ellis noted.
ET, intermittent leaks began to spring up that were occasionally above the threshold NASA officials hoped to see. Given all the issues that surfaced Tuesday evening, NASA could not move ahead with launch right at 1:04 a.m. The NASA Space Launch System rocket is seen at Kennedy Space Center on November 15, ahead of the Artemis I launch. After the most recent try in September, NASA did some troubleshooting and put the rocket through a fueling test. This a test mission, but NASA — and the corporate contractors that helped build the $4.1 billion SLS — have a lot riding on it.
