In October 2021, Hardy pleaded guilty to five counts of stalking involving fear of violence, and was sentenced to nine years in prison in January 2022. He's currently serving his sentence in a category B prison, according to the "Can I Tell You a Secret" podcast. "He has said to me, 'I don't want anything to do with social media ever again,'" she recalled.
