London CNN —Scientists in the United Kingdom have stored the entire human genome on a “5D memory crystal,” in the hope that it could be used in the future as a blueprint to bring humanity back from extinction. The crystal is stored in the Memory of Mankind archive in Hallstatt, Austria. “The visual key inscribed on the crystal gives the finder knowledge of what data is stored inside and how it could be used,” said Kazansky. In 2018, Kazansky and his team used the memory crystal technology to store Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” trilogy of science fiction books, which were then launched into space aboard a Tesla Roadster. The technology has also been used to store major documents from human history, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Magna Carta.

I thought the Fisker Ocean was a great option, based on the price and a nice marketing message around the sustainability of the vehicle. I reported the issue to Fisker right away and I struggled to get them to come out and service it. FiskerAt first, Fisker sent out a roadside assistance guy to jump the car and the car wouldn't jump. Regarding the owner's seat-sensor issue, the Fisker spokesperson said the seat sensor was a "routine fix for some early vehicles."

As a clinical psychologist, I've spent 14 years teaching people how to regulate their emotions and cope with difficult situations. Here are five things I do when I need to stop overthinking everything:1. Write it outWhen you need to process your feelings or an experience, instead of overthinking, practice expressive writing. Try this exercise over the course of three days: Day 1: Spend 15 to 20 minutes writing about the stress and trauma that is plaguing you. Researchers say it's because writing can help you go deeper into your emotions, while also creating some distance and an end point.

Ayana Dunlap has been working in tech since 2020. Even though she doesn't have the job she wanted as a kid, Dunlap found a different vocation she loves: technology. Dunlap didn't consider turning her knack for computers into her career until she was laid off from her sales job in June 2020. While working there, Dunlap was tasked with helping organizations prepare to return to the office, by setting up their desktops, routers and printers on-site. Some of the skills that helped Dunlap transition into tech without a bachelor's degree included oft skills she learned while working in hotels, namely, communication and customer service.

As the first earnings season of 2024 draws to a close, CNBC's Jim Cramer gave his take on the most recent reports from the Magnificent Seven mega caps, awarding particular kudos to Nvidia and Amazon . He first lauded Nvidia, which reported record revenue up 265% thanks to continued high demand for its artificial intelligence products. He then called Amazon "the most definitive summa of all," with a hot advertising business and growing web services sector. Cramer also awarded Meta a "summa," praising its advertising capabilities and WhatsApp business. And Tesla earned a "gentleman's C," Cramer said, uncertain about how this year will shape up for the company.

New York CNN —Angela Chao, CEO of the shipping company the Foremost Group and sister of former US cabinet secretary Elaine Chao, was killed in a car crash in Texas on Sunday, according to a spokesperson for her company. Angela Chao, 50, had been CEO of the shipping company since 2018, assuming the role from her father, James S.C. Chao, who had founded it in 1964. “Angela Chao was a formidable executive and shipping industry leader, as well as a proud and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother. She was also a precocious youngster, learning about the shipping industry at an early age,” said the companies’ statement. Elaine Chao is the wife of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
