With its athletes barred from competing in the Summer Olympics under the country’s flag, Russia has turned its fury on the Games and this year’s host, Paris. Russian propagandists have created an hourlong documentary, spoofed news reports and even mimicked French and American intelligence agencies to issue fake warnings urging people to avoid the Games, according to a report released on Sunday by Microsoft. The report details the disinformation campaign created by a group the company calls Storm-1679. The campaign appears to have accelerated since March, flooding social media with short videos raising alarms about possible terrorist attacks and stoking fears about safety. The operation, while aimed at the Games, is using various techniques to spread disinformation that could also be employed in European and U.S. elections.

In any case, he said, it's important to keep the most relevant information on the first page of a résumé. Highlight things like relevant job experience for a role you're going for, he said. "We're not expecting to see the exact same formatting or skills or experience, and so we really pore through the résumé," Samuels said. The recent Singapore Airlines turbulence incident and how the aftermath was handled offers a lesson to all in the industry, Emirates President Timothy Clark said. A Singapore Airlines flight encountered severe turbulence on its way from London to Singapore last month, leaving one person dead and several injured. The flight was forced to land in Thailand and preliminary investigation showed that the plane dropped 54 meters (178 feet) in less than five seconds. "No airline could have done more to try and - one, address the issue, and two, deal with the consequences than Singapore did," he said. Pilots engaged controls in an attempt to stabilize the aircraft while gravitational forces were fluctuating, according to the investigation report, which also noted that seat belt-fastening signals were switched on as the incident unfolded.

First Solar still has substantially room to run even after rallying about 80% over the past two months, with tailwinds from tariffs and data center demand on the horizon, according to Goldman Sachs. Goldman raised its stock price target for First Solar by nearly $31 to $302 per share, implying 11% upside from Friday's close of $271.76. First Solar is also party to a trade case that could result in the imposition of tariffs on solar module manufacturers from four Southeast Asian nations. Goldman has estimated that power demand from data centers will more than double to 8% of total U.S. consumption by 2030. Goldman sees First Solar's earnings per share increasing by about 20% in 2027 if the company adds a new plant.

While Musk hasn't formally endorsed Trump, one reason Silicon Valley heavy-hitters could be gravitating toward a convicted former president is a desire to see less regulation on tech development in America. "So unless it's very light touch, which is unlikely at this point, the more influence they have over Ai regulation the better the opportunity to advantage themselves." Where the two sides were even within shouting distance of each other was vanishingly small, if it existed at all. But a few voices in the Trump universe allowed that Mr. Trump may well have done something wrong, and a few in the anti-Trump sphere said they had finally been convinced to vote for his opponent, President Biden. Prosecutors had framed their case in the loftiest of terms, election interference — an all-out effort to thwart the exposure of a sex scandal that may well have changed the course of history. That was not how Mr. Trump’s supporters saw it. (False claims that the 2020 election was rigged, pushed by Mr. Trump and his allies, have been repeatedly debunked, and there is no basis for the suggestion that the Manhattan case or the verdict rendered unanimously by a jury of 12 was rigged.)
