Last year, my husband was offered a job as a Camp Director at a small children's camp in remote Southwestern Ontario. Instead of worrying about paying for summer activities, our kids will spend leisurely summer days at the camp. Our kids sleep so much better at campOne of the most unexpected bonuses of summer camp life is our sleep habits. I'll gladly jump into the lake on a hot summer day with my girls or play a game of beach volleyball. When I go to bed at night, my pillow smells like a campfire, sunscreen, and sweat — all signs of a perfect day at summer camp.

Former first lady Shanil Dzimbiri, the ex-wife of former President Bakili Muluzi, was also on the plane, the president had said. While just about every other document is accessible online, a lost passport is one of the last analog emergencies that can derail an international trip. Here’s a guide to replacing a lost passport according to how fast you need it, how much money you have to spare and where you live. If you’ve got at least three weeksYou’ll be OK. On the State Department website, at travel.state.gov/passports, first report your passport lost and then follow the process for a replacement. On the website, you’ll find a list of 7,500 passport acceptance facilities — including post offices, public libraries and clerk of court offices — where you can make an appointment or, in most cases, come during scheduled walk-in hours. They’ll verify your documents and send them to the State Department, and you’ll get your passport in the mail.

Follow company AI guidelinesAs using AI in the workplace becomes common for tasks like coding or analysis, it is crucial to follow your company's AI policy. At Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, the company unveiled "Apple Intelligence" – its long-awaited AI software. Apple CEO Tim Cook stressed privacy and personalization with the system, moving beyond AI into "personal intelligence." Siri will also be getting some upgrades with Apple Intelligence, and Apple announced that Siri will also be able to tap into ChatGPT when needed through the company's partnership with OpenAI. The activist hedge fund has taken a $1.9 billion stake in Southwest Airlines , which makes it one of the airline's biggest investors. This follows a number of other stakes the firm has built within the past two months, such as a $2.5 billion stake in Texas Instruments, a $2 billion stake in SoftBank and a $1 billion stake in Anglo American.

From AppleBy adding artificial intelligence features to Siri, Apple's smart assistant will be able to do more, Apple said. Those changes start with Siri's language recognition capabilities, which can detect when users correct themselves mid-sentence. Other examples of actions users will be able to do with Siri include asking it to add a certain photo to a draft email; directing Siri to send photos from a recent event to a specific contact; or to share a summary of meeting notes in an email to a colleague. All of that is possible, Apple said, because Apple Intelligence grabs information about you from your photos, calendar events, files and messages — including PDFs of concert tickets and links shared by contacts. It will also be able to search through your photos for information that you're trying to put into an online form and add it for you, like taking the data from a photo of your driver's license and automatically inserting it into a form.

The video game company's stock declined to just below $24 apiece on Monday after falling nearly 40% on Friday alone. GameStop shares fell more than 16% on Monday as the meme stock extended Friday's sell-off sparked by a dismal earnings report and a uninspiring livestream from Roaring Kitty. The analyst thinks that any boost GameStop got from Gill could turn out to be short-lived.

Hunter Biden’s legal case is, at its root, a story about the toxic, careless choices made by a drug addict. It’s about the fact that addicts weave tragedy into their own lives and into the lives of those around them. Addicts don’t think about other people; they think about themselves. And they lie — that’s how they supply their addiction. He had to watch his daughter take the stand and testify, something that’s intimidating, even frightening, under any circumstances.

If you're living and working abroad and still need to file 2023 taxes, the deadline is only one week away. While the regular tax deadline was April 15 for most taxpayers, there's an automatic two-month extension to June 17 for those U.S. citizens and resident aliens, including dual citizens, who live outside the country. There are two ways to qualify for the June 17 deadline, according to the IRS. You must live outside of the U.S. and Puerto Rico or serve in the military outside the country during the regular tax deadline.
