They moved into a bigger home, bought annual passes to Disney World, and enjoyed the warmer weather. I was born and raised in New York City but always knew I'd eventually move to Florida. I spent a lot of time vacationing there as a kid and my wife and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon. Plus, my wife and I wanted to start a family there because the cost of living in New York City was too high. Here's what it's like to work, play, and raise kids with Disney World in your backyard.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, are worth roughly $15 million, per Forbes. Forbes noted that one of the major reasons Kennedy does not have more money is "the Kennedy family tree has a lot of branches." RFK Jr. Forbes estimated in 2015 that the entire Kennedy family fortune was worth $1.2 billion. According to Forbes, Hines also has two retirement accounts, which hold between $600,000 and $1.7 million, mainly in stock and bond index funds. Some of Kennedy's family members have been outspoken in their support of President Joe Biden, and he's struggled to make in-roads with Democrats.

LONDON, July 9 (Reuters) - British companies were the most upbeat about their trading prospects in 10 months in June and their hiring plans increased again but rising interest rates could prompt consumers to rein in spending, according to a survey published on Sunday. Trade body Make UK and accountants BDO said their measure of business optimism hit its highest since August 2022, helped by the survey's gauge of inflation pressure dropping to its lowest in nearly two years. The survey's employment index posted its fifth consecutive monthly increase with rises in the number of self-employed and part-time workers, despite a slowdown in output growth with manufacturers seeing the worst output reading since May 2020. The Bank of England, which is trying to curb the highest inflation rate among the world's big rich countries, is worried about long-term price pressures in the labour market and it is widely expected to continue raising interest rates. “The great American art form isn’t music or film or television,” says a podcast host in “Based on a True Story,” a new dark comedy on Peacock. “The great American art form is murder. Forget the surfeit of murder podcasts that “Based on a True Story” satirizes, however fitfully. “Based on True Story” is not even the first TV comedy about a fictional murder podcast. But inside the walls at Ware, one of the state’s largest juvenile detention facilities, children have been trying to kill themselves with stunning regularity. In Louisiana, where brutal conditions prompted juvenile justice reform two decades ago, the system is again in crisis. Most Ware guards are Black, as well, though nearly all of its leaders are white, as are the local judge, sheriff and district attorney. “Of course, they still do.” In reports to the state, Ware’s nurses described carpet burns on children’s faces and head-to-toe bruises from restraints. In fact, of the four guards convicted of sexually assaulting children at Ware, Mr. Peace would be the only one imprisoned.
CNN —Kaley Cuoco’s next role is a big one – mom. The “Flight Attendant” star announced on Tuesday via Instagram that she’s expecting her first child, a girl, with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey. The child is due in 2023, the former “Big Bang Theory” star shared, adding that she feels “beyond blessed and over the moon.”Pelphrey, an actor known for his work on shows like “Ozark” and “Iron First,” wrote to Cuoco in his own Instagram post: “Love you more than ever.”The pair have been dating since earlier this year.
(CNN) Time-traveling romance has a spotty history (just ask HBO), but like "Groundhog Day," that doesn't stop variations on the theme from happening again and again. Enter "Meet Cute," an unhelpfully-generic title for a movie most notable for pairing Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson, in a concept with barely enough meat for a "Black Mirror" episode, which likely explains its arrival via Peacock. "We just work," Sheila tells him, a theory that she can put to the test, over and over, altering the nature of their interaction in small and not-so-small ways and seeing how it plays out. The formula is obviously full of potential, which explains why writers keep returning to it, from "50 First Dates" to the recent Andy Samberg movie "Palm Springs." "It's OK for things to be messy sometimes," Sheila tells Gary, a line that possesses some significance in the larger story, but which doesn't necessarily apply quite as well in this sort of exercise.
