Kraków was full of well-preserved history. We were also fascinated with Rome's ancient history during our Italian vacation, but Kraków surprised us with an incredible mix of older and newer sites. As Luc explained on the episode, the city is special because it remained relatively unscathed during World War II. It's one of the best-preserved cities in Europe, with a charming old town square and an enchanting Jewish quarter. Kraków was also an important place for us to learn more about modern history, including visiting Schindler's Factory and paying respects at nearby Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Shares of U.S. Cellular popped more than 12% Tuesday after T-Mobile announced that it plans to acquire most of the company, including the wireless operator's stores, some of its spectrum assets and its customers in a deal worth $4.4 billion. The deal includes cash and up to $2 billion of debt, according to a press release from T-Mobile. T-Mobile will acquire about 30% of U.S. Cellular's wireless spectrum as part of the deal, according to the U.S. Cellular release. The company said it will allow U.S. Cellular customers to keep their current plans or switch to a T-Mobile plan. CNN —A Polish pilot proposed to his flight attendant girlfriend during a flight from Warsaw to Krakow, and she said yes. “On today’s flight there is a very special person and I hope that she doesn’t expect anything,” he said. The soon-to-be Mrs Hanc, Paula, can then be seen running down the aisle of the plane to hug her future husband. “I don’t know if this is the right hand for this,” she said as he slipped the ring onto her finger in front of delighted passengers. It all started when Zahn was a flight attendant and Duncan was a pilot on a Pan American World Airways flight from Rome to Tehran in 1970 and lasted until Duncan’s death in 2021 at the age of 86.
