A "Wheel of Fortune" contestant has gone viral for his hilariously wrong answer on the Nov. 11 episode of the show. With only a few tiles missing, the board read "___E _OURSE_F A ROUN_ OF A___AUSE," before contestant Will Jordan gave his answer. "Treat yourself a round of sausage," he guessed — which, clearly, was wrong for a number of reasons. A clip now viewed over a half a million times on X shows Jordan's comical "missolve." Following the silly sausage solve, the game show's social correspondent and daughter of former host Pat Sajek, Maggie Sajek, got Jordan's thoughts on his "missolve" moment.

This week, the numbers are screaming to go with Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, one of eight quarterbacks averaging more than 300 passing yards a game. This week, I’m riding with Sampson to lead all rushers in yards because he’s facing a Mississippi State defense that’s ranked 124th against the run. Dart’s 515 passing yards and six TDs last week against Arkansas, with a breakout performance from Jordan Watkins, provide more reason for me to stick with my midseason prediction. AdvertisementWeek 10 report cardAs mentioned before, my big victory last week was predicting Dart would lead all QBs in passing yards. I had Clemson covering a 10.5-point spread against Louisville with Cade Klubnik (250-plus passing yards, two TDs) and Phil Mafah (100-plus rushing yards, two TDs) doing work.

Pierce, who served multiple roles, including associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, at ASU from 2017 to 2022, was sanctioned by the governing body for an alleged roughly year-long prohibited recruiting scheme. CNN has reached out to Pierce, the Raiders and ASU for comment. Pierce “consistently denied planning or arranging any portion of the visits, providing recruiting inducements, or participating in the out-of-state contacts and evaluations,” according to a NCAA press release. In the 67-page report, the NCAA provided what it described as multiple examples of the former Super Bowl Champion knowingly and repeatedly conducting forbidden recruiting violations. The NCAA has accused Antonio Pierce of recruiting violations while coaching at Arizona State University.

Brisbane, Australia CNN —Buying a vape just got harder in Australia with the introduction of some of the world’s toughest anti-vaping laws that limit the sale of vapes with nicotine to pharmacies. From Monday, users will need to present a doctor’s prescription to a pharmacist to buy vapes, and the choice will be limited to three flavors: mint, menthol and tobacco. Dozens of countries have banned disposable vapes, but with the ban on vape sales in shops, service stations and other small retailers, Australia has introduced “world leading” laws, according to the government. Adults will be able to buy vapes in pharmacies, without a prescription – but the devices may be hard to find after some leading pharmacy chains declared they would refuse to stock them. Despite the rising cost of cigarettes, some fear that young vapers – having been locked out of the vape market – will turn to cigarettes to get their nicotine fix.

REUTERS/Megan JelingerJan 4 (Reuters) - The Buffalo Bills said on Wednesday that safety Damar Hamlin has shown "signs of improvement" since suffering a cardiac arrest during a Monday night NFL game in Cincinnati, but that he is still in critical condition. "Damar remains in the ICU (intensive care unit) in critical condition with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight," the Bills said in a social media post. During the first quarter of the Bills' penultimate regular season game against the Bengals, Hamlin got to his feet after making a tackle and then collapsed. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow told reporters on Wednesday there was "a lot of chaos" after Hamlin was taken off the field, before the NFL announced the game was postponed. "We didn't really know what was going on," Burrow told reporters on Wednesday.
[1/9] Soccer Football - FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 - Fans in Montevideo watch Ghana v Uruguay - Montevideo, Uruguay - December 2, 2022 Uruguay fans look dejected after the match as Uruguay are eliminated from the World Cup REUTERS/Andres Cuenca OlaondoAL WAKRAH, Qatar, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Giorgian de Arrascaeta scored twice in six minutes to give Uruguay a 2-0 win over Ghana on Friday but it was not enough to prevent them crashing out of the World Cup on goals scored. Unable to score in their first two matches, Uruguay needed a win to advance from Group H and for already-qualified Portugal to avoid defeat by South Korea. But the Asian side's shock 2-1 win - the second goal coming in stoppage time - ensured they went through by virtue of having scored two more goals. With South Korea tied with Portugal late in their match and Uruguay two goals up, the South American side had one foot in the last 16 before the pendulum swung in the direction of South Korea, who ahead in the table on goals scored. Uruguay lacked the same kind of punch when they returned from the interval, however, and they failed to further break down Ghana and boost their goal difference, allowing South Korea to advance.
CNN Reliable Sources has independently obtained the same messages that McLaughlin sent to Meadows. Through a spokesperson, McLaughlin declined to comment. The messages underscore the intimate relationship that Hannity, his team, and the right-wing media writ large shared with the Trump White House. “Jim Jordon [sic] will gladly coordinate with the House team,” Meadows texted McLaughlin. And it’s no secret Hannity himself worked as a top informal adviser to Trump.
