Bojkov, Peevski și Zhelyazkov sunt acuzați de scheme de corupție, abuz asupra profitului instituțiilor publice și evaziune fiscală. Omul de afaceri și oligarhul bulgar Vassil Kroumov Bojkov a mituit în repetate rânduri diverși oficiali guvernamentali, printre care un actual lider politic bulgar și ex-președintele fostei Comisii de Stat pentru Jocuri de Noroc din Bulgaria (SCG).
