Where to live is a very personal decision. But with some degree of remote work seemingly here to stay, The Wall Street Journal set out to put data and analysis behind how to identify great places to live if you have the option to work from home. We started out by commissioning a custom survey, with Ipsos conducting a nationwide poll of 1,050 adults in the U.S. in August 2022. This poll allowed us to identify the top 10 factors people said they cared most about in a remote-work location and to weight them accordingly in our ranking. Our unique ranking highlights places you may not have thought to put at the top of your list, but that fit the criteria people say they care about the most when it comes to a great place to work remotely.

The Wall Street Journal ranked the 50 busiest airports based on 19 measures that span a journey, from ticket purchase through takeoff and landing. We divided the airports into two categories: the 20 largest airports, in terms of number of passengers, and the next 30 we call midsize; each group has distinct advantages and challenges. The 19 factors in the rankings are grouped into three broad categories important to travelers: reliability, convenience and value.

LONDON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - King Charles asked the British parliament on Monday to amend the law to allow two more of his siblings to act on his behalf in his absence, adding them to a group which currently includes his disgraced brother Prince Andrew. That currently means that in addition to Charles's wife Camilla and his eldest son and heir Prince William, the grouping comprises the king's younger son Prince Harry, younger brother Prince Andrew, and Andrew's eldest daughter Princess Beatrice. That has led to criticism from some commentators because neither Andrew nor Harry carry out official royal roles any more. Meanwhile, Harry stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California with his wife Meghan. The change will require parliament to amend the terms of the Regency Act.

Of the roughly 200 songs Taylor Swift has released since the start of her recording career, “All Too Well” has long been a fan favorite—it’s the song, Ms. Swift has said, that concertgoers request more than any other. But what do other listeners think? A national poll conducted by Ipsos for The Wall Street Journal posed the open-ended question “What is your favorite Taylor Swift song?” to a nationally representative sample of 1,024 people. Though their selections may not reflect the tastes of die-hard Swifties, they show the enduring power of Ms. Swift’s catchy chart toppers, dating back to her first album.
