Apple wants to cut its ties with chip designer Qualcomm but despite years of work and billions of dollars, the company hasn’t been able to build a wireless chip in-house.
WSJ reporter Aaron Tilley joins host Zoe Thomas to explain Apple’s spectacular failure in this effort.
Many Apple customers may not be familiar with Luxshare Precision or its leader Grace Wang, but they likely own its handiwork.

Luxshare is also the assembler of Apple’s first mixed-reality headset, due to reach consumers next year.
