Read previewSure, Edinburgh has the castle atop the Royal Mile, but the often-overlooked Glasgow is just as fun, less crowded, equally beautiful, and offers plenty to do for families. Glasgow offers unique family attractionsEdinburgh has tons of tourist attractions, but Glasgow has its own set of treasures. We stayed at hotels in Glasgow and Edinburgh, with the former being substantially cheaper. AdvertisementAnd while Edinburgh is a smaller city, it attracts more tourists than Glasgow. In Edinburgh, we dodged the crowds as we walked up and down the Royal Mile and around other tourist hot spots.

The porn videos had titles like "Juicy Anniversary" and "Bedroom Shenanigans." In search of a man for Wilson, Gow sought advice from his therapist, who suggested joining a swingers club. In the background, Video Gow is moaning "Oh yeah" as IRL Gow says, "I've always had some ED issues." As the video ends with the big finale — the money shot, as it's known in the industry — Video Gow stands above kneeling Video Wilson, arms outstretched. The termination letter said he had failed to properly report his income from the porn videos and had violated "prohibitions for using one's public position for private benefit."

But despite the free tuition, many students in Scotland still take out loans in order to pay for accommodation and living expenses. Jeff J Mitchell/Getty ImagesSince student housing isn't paid for by the government, many people opt to live with their parents, like I did. Others will take out a student loan or bursary, which is provided by the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS). The student housing itself is also different to the US. While many universities in the US offer dorms with shared rooms, there are typically no shared bedrooms in Scotland's student accommodation.

The Classics specialist and five-time cyclocross world champion is the first Dutchman to win the rainbow jersey in the road race since Joop Zoetemelk in 1985. "Maybe this completes my career in my opinion, it's maybe my biggest victory on the road and I cannot imagine riding in the rainbows for a year," Van der Poel said. Heavy rain provided another twist and Van der Poel might have paid for his late spill but, with a rainbow arced over the city, he closed in on the rainbow jersey. I was pretty pissed at myself," Van der Poel said. When Van der Poel powered up the steep Montrose Road climb for the final time he could finally enjoy ending the long Dutch wait for a road world champion.

GLASGOW, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Denmark reclaimed their world title in men's team pursuit as they defeated Olympic champions Italy in the final at the UCI World Championships in Glasgow on Saturday. In the women's team pursuit final later, Britain -- led by local favourite Katie Archibald -- take on New Zealand, seeking to win the title for the first time since 2014. Crow Road, the one categorised climb, will not shred an elite peloton featuring Grand Tour and Classics winners, but once it rolls into Glasgow, battle will truly commence. A 14.3km circuit of the city centre will be tackled 10 times meaning a combined 400 tight corners. "It will be an accumulation of efforts," Van der Poel, who will share the Dutch leadership with Dylan van Baarle, said on Friday. "It's going to be full gas racing," he said, while Philipsen said: "It will be turning, turning, accelerating all the time." Other favourites include two-time Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia, Denmark's former world champion Mads Pedersen and Poland's Michal Kwiatkowski.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will attend the COP27 summit in Egypt next week, he said on Wednesday, reversing a much-criticised decision to skip the annual climate gathering in order to work on pressing economic issues at home. There is no energy security without investing in renewables," Sunak wrote on Twitter. The deal was meant to ensure that the world still has a chance to avert the worst impacts of global warming. "The prime minister has been shamed into going to COP27 by the torrent of disbelief that he would fail to turn up," the opposition Labour Party's climate policy spokesperson Ed Miliband said. Britain's COP26 president Alok Sharma, who had criticised Sunak's initial decision to skip the summit in a newspaper interview, said he was "delighted" the prime minister was going to the conference.
Asked on Tuesday if there ever were a PGA Tour v LIV Golf showdown would he play in it, Sam Burns did not hesitate. Horschel acknowledged the appeal of a PGA v LIV contest, but noted that the PGA Tour had nothing to gain from such an event. said Horschel, adding that a PGA Tour v LIV Golf showdown has been discussed. "So it's really a lose-lose for the PGA Tour in that situation, and LIV's got everything to gain from it." "It's a big hypothetical," said world number one Scottie Scheffler of a PGA Tour v LIV Golf faceoff.
