Kind of how I think about it, it's moving with this beta move. It's become such a low-priced stock there's some beta to it. The stock closed out November with its best monthly gain ever, rising by nearly 40%. "From a risk-reward basis, if I want to play beta, I'm going to buy capital markets, I'm going to buy semiconductors, I'm going to buy capital goods, probably more mid-cap industrial rather than GE to play that. Quint Tatro, president of Joule Financial, is also wary of the bounce in GE and sees better opportunity elsewhere.

It's key for businesses to develop a disaster recovery plan in preparation for a potential future crisis. Unfortunately, disaster recovery (DR) plans don't get a lot of love before the disaster hits. The plan is the major componentWithout a plan, collaboration after a disaster becomes significantly more difficult, if not impossible. Common DR plan failuresThe number of companies with a deliberate and rehearsed DR plan is few and far between. The Fear and Greed index, known for gauging investor sentiment, moved into "extreme greed" territory this week and was at 92 out of 100 on Friday. Some investors took note of Warren Buffett's famous advice to "be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful" this week when CNN Business' Fear and Greed index moved into "extreme greed" territory on Wednesday. The higher the index reading, the greedier investors are. His team tested market returns based on the seven indicators of the Fear and Greed index and found that results range from better-than-normal returns to just below-normal returns when greed is high. However, even after putting aside the high reading on the Fear and Greed index, not all is rosy for the markets.

However, close to a million people have already been injected with experimental shots since the Chinese government authorized the vaccines for emergency use in July. The rush to access these experimental shots has spurred fears of a booming black market for vaccines, Bloomberg News reported. However, it has yet to release any public data regarding the vaccines' efficacy in their phase-three trials. One anonymous source told Bloomberg that he paid $91 for two doses of what he believed to be a Sinopharm vaccine. People who have successfully accessed the experimental Sinopharm vaccines in China are usually those who have privileged connections and want protection before traveling.

(Reuters) - General Electric Co on Tuesday warned of more job cuts at its aviation unit, citing a lengthy recovery for the airline industry from the impact of the coronavirus crisis. In an internal video message delivered on Friday, GE’s aviation unit head John Slattery said additional job cuts would be a component of those options, a company official said. Through the quarter to end-September, GE had reduced about 20% of its aviation workforce and realized close to $1 billion in cost savings. Revenue at GE’s aviation unit, its largest, fell 39% in the third quarter while aviation orders more than halved during the period, with a 60% decline in both commercial engines and commercial services. This has compounded the troubles at GE’s aviation unit, which makes engines for Boeing and Airbus SE and had already been reeling from the grounding of Boeing’s 737 MAX planes.
