Biles said in a press release that she is “so excited” and described the tour as “a victory lap around the US.”“It’s more of a celebration tour,” Biles told CNN’s Coy Wire ahead of the tour’s upcoming fourth show in San Jose on Saturday. Biles and co. visited Los Angeles on Friday, with the next leg of the tour scheduled to take place in San Jose on Saturday. This is the second Gold Over America Tour that Biles has led. The tour has been referred to by its acronym “GOAT,” more than likely a nod to Biles’ legendary standing in professional gymnastics. Part of warmup for a recent involved a spot of “goat yoga,” which saw Biles and Chiles balance a live goat on their backs.

"I'm really passionate about changing the support around the sport," Richard told CNBC in an interview after the Olympics ended. That content hopefully is not only driving more eyeballs to the men's gymnastics, but participants as well. Men's gymnastics consistently lags in popularity behind women's at the collegiate level, where meets are regularly televised, and at the international level. There are only 12 Division I NCAA Men's Gymnastics programs, and more are at risk of cuts. "I don't think it's ever been a situation where that many people are watching men's gymnastics … and left feeling like it was worth it."

CNN —Reigning world champion Simone Biles will become the fourth American woman gymnast to compete in three Olympic Games after placing first in the all-around competition at the 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials Sunday in Minneapolis. Biles started her night on the vault, posting a score of 15.500. Her second rotation of the night - the uneven bars - showed Biles’ consistency, as she finished with a score of 14.200. Like on night one of the competition, Biles was shaky on the beam - her third rotation. In Paris, Biles’ first opportunity to add to her haul of seven Olympic medals will be the women’s team final on July 30, two days before the all-around final.
