"Jellysmack's team has been extremely professional, and we hope to continue collaborating with them on many other opportunities," Copyright Capital's CEO Jack Ojalvo told BI in a statement.
AdvertisementThe company entered the catalog-licensing business in early 2022, saying it would set aside $500 million for the effort.
The company chose to deprioritize JellyFi in favor of more profitable core initiatives.
