If you were among the many who wondered why anyone would make a "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" reboot, this time without Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, when the project was announced in 2021, you'd be forgiven. "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," co-created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane (who previously worked with Glover on "Atlanta") remixes the film's premise. AdvertisementThis central relationship is the true hook of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," a show that's more about cultivating intimacy and vulnerability than it is espionage. While a previous iteration of the series starred "Fleabag's" Phoebe Waller-Bridge alongside Glover, it's hard to imagine "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" without Erskine. All eight episodes of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" are streaming now on Prime Video.

"You've just dropped the World Cup," were the words attributed to Waugh after Gibbs's drop, though neither player has ever corroborated the remark. Klusener thumped fours off paceman Damien Fleming's first two balls to leave South Africa needing one run from the final four balls for a place in their maiden World Cup final. They were eliminated from their home World Cup in 2003 after miscalculating the adjusted winning target in a rain-hit match against Sri Lanka. In 2015, New Zealand batsman Grant Elliot smashed Dale Steyn for six to sink South Africa in the semi-final in Auckland. Former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin said he would waste no time in bringing up South Africa's World Cup misfires if he was playing against them in Thursday's semi-final in Kolkata.

Its restaurant portfolio includes Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. But a better opportunity might be their hidden gem in the 150 Outback restaurants in Brazil. As for Starboard, the firm has had extensive success at both Papa John's and Darden, but in strikingly different ways. Papa John's was a very amicable engagement in which Starboard was invited onto the board and worked with management to create extensive shareholder value. If management is smart, they will view Darden as a warning, and Papa John's as the opportunity.

Putin's strategy is failing because he has "little effective internal challenge," per a UK intel chief. The remarks come after Putin launched a major bombardment of Ukrainian cities and facilities. The Russian leader has surrounded himself primarily with people who share his mindset, making internal challenges to his thinking exceedingly rare. Putin framed this as retaliation for an attack on the Kerch Strait Bridge over the weekend, state media reported. On Saturday, Putin named a notoriously brutal commander, Sergei Surovikin, to lead Russia's assault on Ukraine.
