CNN —Megan Rapinoe said it has been an “honor” to play for the United States after making her fourth and final appearance at a Women’s World Cup. Before the tournament, the 38-year-old announced that this would be her final year as a professional soccer player and she now returns to her National Women’s Soccer League team, OL Reign, for the remainder of the season. Rapinoe (center) celebrates with teammates after facing Wales before the start of the World Cup. In 2022, she became the first soccer player to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Speaking to Fox Sports after the defeat against Sweden, Rapinoe called it a “sick joke” and “dark comedy” that the US had dominated much of the game before being knocked out in cruel fashion on penalties.

Fast-forward to the upcoming Women’s World Cup, which starts on July 20 in Australia and New Zealand, and a host of the game’s best players will also be absent because of an injury which appears to be endemic in the women’s game. But why are so many female soccer players suffering from the same injury? “At elite clubs in the men’s game, players have access to exceptional academies and training facilities from a very young age. Beth Mead starred for England in its Euro 2022 victory but will be missing the Women's World Cup. According to the findings, 34% of women players reported discomfort specifically in their heel and the majority use specialized insoles.

În mai 2019, guvernul ucrainean a adoptat o nouă ortografie care, printre multe alte lucruri, a „legalizat” feminitivele. Feminitivele nu sunt nici o revoluție – putem găsi exemple în cărți scrise încă în secolele XI și XII, potrivit lingviștilor. Conform regulilor de ortografie în limba ucraineană, există cel puțin șase sufixe care transformă o formă masculină într-o formă feminină. Dacă nu știu cum să creeze o formă corectă la feminin, oamenii încep să-și bată joc. Fotografiile/infograficele de pe platforma moldova.org pot fi preluate în număr de maxim 2 bucăți per material și doar cu menționarea Moldova.org și numele autorului/autoarei.
