SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — The company seeking permits to mine minerals near the edge of the Okefenokee Swamp and its vast wildlife refuge has agreed to pay a $20,000 fine to Georgia environmental regulators, who say the company violated state laws while collecting soil samples for its permit application. The plan is required for Twin Pines to qualify for a permit. Twin Pines has insisted it can mine without harming the swamp. An attorney for Twin Pines said Wednesday the company denies any wrongdoing. The Army Corps entered an agreement with Twin Pines to maintain its hands-off position in 2022.

Agenţia Naţională Transport Auto (ANTA) informează operatorii de transport, care efectuează transport rutier internațional de mărfuri pe teritoriul Ucrainei, despre intrarea în vigoare începând din data de 7 noiembrie a modificărilor Codului Vamal al Ucrainei. 194 al Codului Vamal al Ucrainei prevedeau notificarea prealabilă a autorităților vamale de destinație, în zona de activitate a căror mărfurile vor fi prezentate spre vămuire, cu privire la intenția de a importa mărfuri pe teritoriul vamal al Ucrainei. Pentru mărfurile aflate în tranzit pe teritoriul Ucrainei, nu a fost necesară notificarea prealabilă. Astfel, odată cu introducerea modificărilor, transportatorul va fi obligat să depună declarația generală de sosire (общая декларация прибытия) pentru toate mărfurile care se aduc pe teritoriul Ucrainei, inclusiv cele în tranzit. Menționăm că, pentru transportul rutier internațional de mărfuri este obligatorie notificarea cu cel puțin o oră înainte de sosirea mărfurilor pe teritoriul vamal al Ucrainei.
