CNN —Christine Dawood, whose husband Shahzada and son Suleman died aboard the Titan submersible, has revealed that the 19-year-old was a Rubik’s Cube obsessive who could solve the puzzle in 12 seconds. “Suleman did not go anywhere without his Rubik’s cube,” Dawood told the BBC in her first interview since the tragedy. The family had been planning a trip on the Titan submersible for some time, Dawood said, but it was postponed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Asked how she felt now about her son taking her place on the submersible, Dawood declined to say. “I really, really miss them.”The Dawoods are from a prominent Pakistani business family.

Images of the vessel show those onboard would have limited space to stand or sit. The company has taken people on tours of the Titanic site since 2021, and guests have paid $250,000 to travel to the wreckage. As of Tuesday morning, three of them had been identified: Hamish Harding, a British businessman and explorer, and the Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son, Suleman. Where is the Titanic wreck, exactly? Once the biggest steamship in the world, the Titanic hit an iceberg four days into its first voyage, in April 1912, and sank to the bottom of the Atlantic.

Experts have mixed reactions on whether the budget will meet IMF requirements and the impact on the economy. The ‘No new Taxes on Industry’ claim is belied by increase in super tax and that too in not a fully progressive way. Will retailers and the agri sectors that together contribute 40% contribute more than 2% as a result of the budget? SHAHBAZ ASHRAF, CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER AT FRIM VENTURES“It is surely not a budget that the IMF would approve of. "The regional energy price budget, which has built in cross subsidies, general collection and distribution losses is something the export industry cannot sustain."
