☆ Israeli forces release Hamas video of former child hostage

CNN —The Israeli military has released a Hamas propaganda video it said it recovered showing a child who was held hostage by Hamas, spokesperson Daniel Hagari said on Sunday. Hagari did not say when or where Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recovered the video, which shows the since-freed child, Ela Elyakim, speaking to the camera asking to be released. The IDF released an image showing sisters Ela and Dafna Elyakim, who were previously held hostage by Hamas, in front of a flag with the Hamas logo. IDFAround 250 people were taken hostage during Hamas’ surprise October 7 attack on southern Israel, in which 1,200 people were killed, according to Israeli officials. Gantz demanded that the cabinet adopt a plan to secure the return of Israeli hostages, the demobilization of Hamas and the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip by June 8.

LONDON, May 18 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse (CSGN.S) came close to falling below minimum levels of cash held at the Swiss central bank days before its forced takeover by UBS (UBSG.S), a regulatory document shows. As of mid-March 2023, Credit Suisse barely reached its internal cash limit at the Swiss National Bank. Credit Suisse was forced into a government orchestrated rescue on March 19. Ela Bhatt was a lawyer for an Indian textile union in the early 1970s when she decided to help other types of workers, ones who were harder to organize and often barely noticed: women balancing heavy loads of fabric, often perched precariously atop their heads, to make deliveries to markets. Soia ecologică este tot mai căutată pe piaţa Uniunii Europene. Soia se cultivă şi în Republica Moldova, iar producţiile de calitate opţin certificatul Donau Soja care garantează controlul originii boabelor şi statutul de produs nemodificat genetic. ION BERDEA, agricultor: "Am vrut să arătăm că se poate să nu creştem OMG în ţară. ELA MALAI, coordonator de proiect DONAU SOJA: "Noi punem accent promovăm această cultură destul de valoroasă nemodificată genetic. Potrivit experţilor internaţionali, în fiecare an, Europa importă aproximativ 130 mii de tone de soia ecologică sub formă de boabe şi făină.
